DTC P0A1B-1F: Generator Control Module Circuit Intermittent [08/2020 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control and Motor Generator / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.

- Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY - IGCT RELAY) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the A42 inverter with converter assembly connector.
- Remove the IGCT relay from the No. 3 relay block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Inverter with Converter Assembly)- - Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A42-6 (+B) - 5 (IGCT relay) Power switch off Below 1 Ω A42-5 (+B2) - 5 (IGCT relay) Power switch off Below 1 Ω A42-24 (GND1) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 Ω A42-23 (GND2) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 Ω - Install the IGCT relay.
- Reconnect the A42 inverter with converter assembly connector.

- Check the connection and terminal contact pressure of the connectors and wire harnesses between the auxiliary battery and the inverter with converter assembly.

There are no abnormalities in the wire harnesses and connectors.
