Removal [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - ] 

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  3. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY ASSEMBLY 

    See step  18

  4. REMOVE TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pry out the timing chain cover oil seal.

      *a Protective Tape
      NOTE:

      After removal, check the crankshaft for damage. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
