Removal [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY
See step 4
- DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE
- REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 8 water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.
- Slide the clip and remove the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts and EGR cooler bracket from the EGR valve bracket and water outlet.
- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt.
- Remove the EGR valve assembly with the EGR valve bracket from the camshaft housing vertically.
*a Pin *b Hole - Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and EGR valve assembly from the EGR valve bracket.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 8 water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.
