DTC B1537-11: Telephone Sub Antenna Circuit Short to Ground; DTC B1537-13: Telephone Sub Antenna Circuit Open [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the GTS on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [04/2018 - ]

1. Remove the navigation antenna assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - ]

2. Inspect the navigation antenna assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [08/2020 - ]

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Front Side). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - ]

1. Disconnect the F telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector.

2. Disconnect the E telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   F-4 or E-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F-4a - E-1a	Always	Below 1 Ω

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - ]

1. Disconnect the D telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 6 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector.

2. Disconnect the A telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 6 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

1. Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - ]

   NOTE:

   • The ignition switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
