Replacement [12/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Stop the vehicle in a level place.

2. Remove the No. 1 transfer case plug and gasket.

   *1	No. 1 Transfer Case Plug
   *2	Transfer Drain Plug

3. Remove the transfer drain plug and gasket, and then drain the transfer oil.
4. Install a new gasket and the transfer drain plug.

   Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

1. Add transfer oil surface is within 5 mm (0.196 in.) of the bottom of the No. 1 transfer case plug opening.

   Oil Type	Oil Capacity (Reference)
   Toyota Genuine Differential gear oil LT 75W-85 GL-5 or equivalent	0.8 liters (0.8 US qts, 0.7 Imp. qts)

2. Install a new gasket and the No. 1 transfer case plug.

   Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf)
