Disassembly [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER CAP 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the shift lever cap from the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage 2 clamps and disconnect the connector to remove the indicator light wire sub-assembly from the lower No. 2 position indicator housing.

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING 
    1. Disengage the 5 claws to remove the lower No. 2 position indicator housing from the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the position indicator light guide from the lower No. 2 position indicator housing.

  5. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LED 
    1. Disengage the claw to remove the position indicator LED from the lower No. 2 position indicator housing.

  6. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly from the shift lock control unit assembly.
  7. REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the upper position indicator housing from the lower position indicator housing.

  8. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the position indicator slide cover from the lower position indicator housing.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  10. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit assembly.
