On-Vehicle Inspection [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH OPERATION
- Apply the parking brake and turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Step on the brake pedal and check that the engine starts when the shift lever is in N or P, but does not start in the other positions.
- Check that the back-up lights illuminate when the shift lever is in R, and that they do not illuminate with the shift lever in the other positions.
