Removal [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE OIL PAN GASKET
- Remove the automatic transaxle oil pan gasket.
- REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL CLEANER MAGNET
- Remove the 2 transmission oil cleaner magnets from the automatic transaxle oil pan.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Oil Cleaner Magnet - Examine particles in the automatic transaxle oil pan.
- Collect any steel chips with the removed magnets. Look carefully at the chips and particles in the automatic transaxle oil pan and on the transmission oil cleaner magnets to see the type of wear which might be found in the automatic transaxle.

Bearing, gear and plate wear
Brass (non-magnetic)
Bushing wear
- Collect any steel chips with the removed magnets. Look carefully at the chips and particles in the automatic transaxle oil pan and on the transmission oil cleaner magnets to see the type of wear which might be found in the automatic transaxle.
- Remove the 2 transmission oil cleaner magnets from the automatic transaxle oil pan.
- REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE GASKET
- REMOVE MANUAL VALVE
