Installation [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

- INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 1)
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 O-Ring NOTE:- When reusing the sensor, inspect the O-ring.
- If the O-ring has scratches or cuts, replace the sensor.
- Install the sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the sensor connector.
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.
- INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1)
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

- Install the sensor with the bolt.

- INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

- ADD ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
