Installation [08/2016 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Install the 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.
  2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION 
    1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator assembly.
  3. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the radiator drain cock plug to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Replace the O-ring if it is damaged.

    2. Engage the 3 guides.
    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the fan shroud assembly to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan shroud assembly.

    4. Connect the radiator reserve tank hose to the radiator assembly.
    5. Install the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly to the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when installing the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly.

    6. Engage the 3 wire harness clamps.
    7. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.
    8. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.1 N*m (72 kgf*cm, 63 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the upper radiator support with the 5 bolts.

      Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 2 horn connectors.
    3. Connect the clamp of the hood lock control cable.
  5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. CONNECT NO. 1 OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 1 outlet oil cooler hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  10. CONNECT NO. 2 INLET OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose and slide the clip to secure it.
    2. Engage the clamp to connect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose to the fan shroud assembly.
  11. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  12. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67

  14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  15. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
