Inspection [12/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Bulb Type Stop Light) 
    1. Inspect the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Stop Light Switch Assembly)
        *b Not Pushed
        *c Pushed

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Not pushed Below 0.1 Ω
        3 - 4 Pushed Below 200 Ω
        Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light switch assembly.
