Parking Assist ECU Communication Stop Mode [11/2017 - 08/2018]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (PARKING ASSIST ECU CAN BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the parking assist ECU connector.

(to Parking Assist ECU) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D163-11 (CANH) - D163-12 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE CONNECTED TO PARKING ASSIST ECU
Result:
OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the parking assist ECU connector.

(to Parking Assist ECU) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D163-4 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When connecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ] ).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
