Center Airbag Sensor Communication Stop Mode [11/2017 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the airbag sensor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D150-13 (CANH) - D150-22 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE CONNECTED TO AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
Result:
OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY - POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the airbag sensor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D150-25 (E1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω D150-26 (E2) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ] )
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
