- CHECK HARNESS AND TRANSMISSION WIRE (TRANSMISSION WIRE (SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1) - ECM)
- Disconnect the B67 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B67-12 (SL1+) - B67-13 (SL1-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω B67-12 (SL1+) or B67-13 (SL1-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- Disconnect the B65 transmission wire connector.
- Disconnect the B67 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Shift solenoid valve SL1 connector terminal 1 - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω - Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 of the solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.
