Reassembly [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

INSTALL FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

Apply gasoline to a new fuel pump filter seal.

*1	Fuel Pump Filter Seal
*2	Fuel Pump Spacer

Install the fuel pump filter seal and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump with filter assembly.

Engage the 5 claws to install the fuel pump with filter assembly to the fuel filter.

NOTE:

Do not damage the fuel filter.
Do not remove the suction filter from the fuel pump with filter assembly.
Do not use either the fuel pump or suction filter if the suction filter is removed from the fuel pump.

Connect the fuel pump harness connector to install the fuel pump harness to the fuel pump with filter assembly.

Engage the guide to connect the fuel filter hose to the fuel sub-tank.

Engage the 2 clamps.
Engage the claw.

Engage the 2 claws and install the fuel filter, fuel pump with filter assembly and spring to the fuel sub-tank.

Install a new E-ring to the fuel suction plate shaft.

Connect the fuel pump harness connector.
