Installation [08/2016 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 stud bolts.
Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)
*a 26.5 mm (1.043 in.) *b 18 mm (0.709 in.) *c 50 mm (1.969 in.) - Install the starter assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the starter connector.
- Connect the terminal 30 with the nut.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf)
- Close the terminal cap.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 stud bolts.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 64
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- INSTALL BATTERY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
