Removal [08/2016 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INLET OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose from the fan shroud assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose.
  7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 outlet oil cooler hose.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  9. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  11. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  12. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the clamp of the hood lock control cable.

    2. Disconnect the 2 horn connectors.
    3. Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support.
  13. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector.

    3. Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
    4. Remove the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly from the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly.

    5. Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose from the radiator assembly.

    6. Disengage the 2 claws.
    7. Disengage the 3 guides to remove the fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.

    8. Remove the radiator drain cock plug from the radiator assembly.
  14. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION 
    1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly.

  15. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly.
