Removal [08/2016 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ]
- REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FAN SHROUD AND FAN MOTOR
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Open the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.
- Disconnect the compressor and magnetic clutch connector.
- Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
- Type A:
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly bracket.
- Type B:
- Remove the bolt, nut and generator assembly bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the generator assembly.
- Remove the bolt and the wire harness clamp stay.
- Open the terminal cap.
