Removal [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Toyota Safety Sense) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Toyota Safety Sense) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (for EC Mirror without Toyota Safety Sense) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.
  4. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/o EC Mirror) 
    1. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and the inner rear view mirror.

  5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/ EC Mirror) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and the inner rear view mirror.
