Removal [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 )

  3. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 )

  5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 )

  6. REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU

    1. Remove the 2 connectors.
    2. Remove the bolt and nut to remove the parking assist ECU.
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 PARKING ASSIST ECU BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws to remove the No. 1 parking assist ECU bracket.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING ASSIST ECU BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws to remove the No. 2 parking assist ECU bracket.
