Radio Receiver Assembly Communication Stop Mode [11/2017 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

(to Radio and Display Receiver Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D196-13 (CANH) - D196-14 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE CONNECTED TO RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

OK

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

(to Radio and Display Receiver Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D195-1 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ] )
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition D195-4 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V D195-15 (ACC1) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V D196-19 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
