Installation [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.

      NOTE:

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    2. Install the 3 bolts to install the instrument panel airbag.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL 

    Refer to: PROCEDURE - Step 26

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to: PROCEDURE - Step 27

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to: PROCEDURE - Step 29

  5. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to: PROCEDURE - Step 46

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to: PROCEDURE - Step 48

  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to: INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - ] .

  8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light. Refer to: OPERATION CHECK [08/2019 - ] .
