DTC P0717: Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal [08/2017 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. Check the speed sensor NT installation.

   OK

   The installation bolt is tightened properly and there is no clearance between the sensor and transmission case.

Result: 

NG 

SECURELY INSTALL OR REPLACE SPEED SENSOR NT 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the D43 speed sensor connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	560 to 680 Ω

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE SPEED SENSOR NT

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the D56 ECM connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D56-56 (NT+) - D56-55 (NT-)	20°C (68°F)	560 to 680 Ω
   D56-56 (NT+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D56-55 (NT-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE ECM

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
