Replacement [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the propeller shaft assembly. Refer to: REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
  2. REMOVE EXTENSION HOUSING REAR OIL SEAL 
    1. Using SST, remove the extension housing rear oil seal.

      • SST: 09308-00010 
  3. INSTALL EXTENSION HOUSING REAR OIL SEAL 
    1. Coat the lip of a new extension housing rear oil seal with MP grease.

    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the extension housing rear oil seal.
      • SST: 09308-60010 
      • SST: 09950-70010 
        1. 09951-07150

      Standard depth (A)

      3.35 to 3.45 mm (0.132 to 0.136 in.)

  4. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the propeller shaft assembly. Refer to: INSTALLATION [08/2015 - ] ).
  5. ADJUST AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID 
    1. Adjust automatic transmission fluid. Refer to:

      ADJUSTMENT [08/2015 - 08/2017] 

      ADJUSTMENT [08/2017 - 08/2019] 

      ADJUSTMENT [08/2019 - ] 

  6. INSPECT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK
