Installation [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Install a new gasket to the sensor.
    2. Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the sensor.

      without 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench 

      Torque: 20 N.m (200 kgf/cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

      with 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench 

      Torque: 10 N.m (104 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

      HINT: 

      Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - 08/2018] ).

    3. Connect the sensor connector.
  2. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16
