- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and electrical key antenna (outside luggage compartment).

- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and electrical key antenna (outside luggage compartment).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA (OUTSIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT))
- Disconnect the H198 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the T5 electrical key antenna (outside luggage compartment) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H198-2 (CLG8) - T5-2 (ANTE8) Always Below 1 Ω H198-1 (CG8B) - T5-1 (CLGB) Always Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the H198 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

- Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly brought outside vehicle
- All doors closed
- Tail gate control switch assembly or back door outside handle off → on
2 V/DIV., 500 ms/DIV. Pulse generation

- Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly brought outside vehicle
- All doors closed
- Tail gate control switch assembly or back door outside handle off → on
