DTC B2788: IG2 Signal Malfunction [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

- INSPECT HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE MODE SIGNAL AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the steering lock ECU (upper steering column with switch bracket assembly) connector.
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Steering Lock ECU (Upper Steering Column with Switch Bracket Assembly)) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H196-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition H196-6 (IG2) - H196-1 (GND) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V H196-6 (IG2) - H196-1 (GND) Engine switch off Below 1 V Result
