Red Indicator Remains On [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

    6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK

      No DTCs are output.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK VEHICLE OPERATION HISTORY 
    1. Check for vehicle control history and note any codes that are output.

      Refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [08/2019 - ] 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      No vehicle control history is output A
      Any vehicle control history is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY. Refer to  VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [08/2019 - ]  

    Result:

  3. REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 
    1. Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - ]

      NOTE:
      • The engine switch must be off.
      • Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    PERFORM DCM ACTIVATION. Refer to  DCM ACTIVATION [08/2019 - ]
