DTC B15CC-49: Backup Battery Internal Electronic Failure [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK DTC
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]
- Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2019 - ]

- CHECK MOBILEPHONE BATTERY
- Replace the mobilephone battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - ]
NOTE:- The mobilephone battery must not be replaced while an ACN call is in progress.
Refer to ACN CALL END [08/2019 - ]
- After replacing the mobilephone battery, perform initialization.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - ]
- The mobilephone battery must not be replaced while an ACN call is in progress.
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]
- Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
OK
No DTCs are output.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - ]

- Replace the mobilephone battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
- REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
- Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

NOTE:- The engine switch must be off.
- Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
