Installation [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL MOBILEPHONE BATTERY 
    1. Connect the connector and install the mobilephone battery as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Check that the connector is securely connected.

    2. Insert the 2 guides and attach the 2 claws to install the transceiver cover as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Check that the transceiver cover does not lift up.

  2. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2019 - ] 

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2019 - ]

  5. PERFORM REGISTRATION 
    NOTE:

    When replacing the mayday battery or DCM (telematics transceiver) together with the mayday battery, perform registration.
