Inspection [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

INSPECT FUEL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 - Body ground	Always	10 MΩ or higher
2 - Body ground	Always	10 MΩ or higher
1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	5 to 10 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the valve.

Inspect the valve operation.

Check that air flows from port A to ports B and C.

Apply battery voltage across the terminals as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:

Keep the valve as far away from the battery as possible.
Always turn the voltage on and off on the battery side, not the valve side.

Check that air flows from port A to port C.
If the result is not as specified, replace the valve.
