Installation [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

      Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to the 2 O-rings.

      NOTE:
      • Make sure that there are no scratches or foreign matter in or around the hole of the delivery pipe.
      • When installing the fuel pressure pulsation damper, be careful not to damage the O-ring.

      Install the 2 fuel pressure pulsation dampers to the fuel delivery pipes.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER COVER

      Install the 2 fuel pressure pulsation damper covers with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER CAP

      Install the 2 fuel pressure pulsation damper caps.

  4. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  6. CONNECT NO. 3 VENTILATION HOSE 

    See step  6

  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  9. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK 

    See step  11
