Installation [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring and install it to the fuel pressure regulator.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure that there are no scratches or foreign matter in or around the hole of the delivery pipe.
      • When installing the fuel pressure regulator, be careful not to damage the O-ring.
    2. While turning the pressure regulator left and right, install it to the fuel delivery pipe.

    3. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    4. Connect the vacuum sensing hose to the pressure regulator.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  9

  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  4. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK 

    See step  11

  5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16
