Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the radiator assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
  2. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 stabilizer brackets and 2 stabilizer bushes, separate the stabilizer bar.

  3. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY 
    1. Using SST, loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt.

      • SST: 09213-70011 
      • SST: 09330-00021 
    2. Partially install the pulley set bolt to the crankshaft until 2 or 3 threads are engaged.
    3. Using the pulley set bolt and SST, remove the crankshaft pulley.

      • SST: 09950-50013 
        1. 09951-05010
        2. 09952-05010
        3. 09953-05010
        4. 09954-05021
  4. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY 
    1. Remove the crankshaft timing gear key from the crankshaft.

  5. REMOVE TIMING GEAR CASE OR TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL 
    1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the surface of the oil seal press fit hole and crankshaft.
