Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Align the matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and differential flange.

    2. Align the matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and transfer flange.
    3. Install the propeller shaft assembly with the 8 nuts.

      Torque: 70 N.m (714 kgf/cm, 52 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL TRANSFER HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Install the transfer heat insulator with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Install the propeller shaft heat insulator with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 30 N.m (306 kgf/cm, 22 ft.lbf)
