Installation [08/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Install the brake pedal pad onto the brake pedal.

1. Install the brake pedal support assembly with the 4 nuts.

   Torque: 15.2 N.m (155 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION [08/2019 - ]

1. Install the bolt, and connect the brake pedal support assembly to the instrument panel reinforcement assembly.

   Torque: 35 N.m (357 kgf/cm, 26 ft.lbf) 

2. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the inner surface of the hole on the brake pedal and return spring mounting bracket of the brake pedal support assembly.
3. Install the brake pedal return spring.
4. Connect the stop light switch wire harness clamp to the brake pedal support assembly.

5. Connect the wire harness clamp to the brake pedal support assembly.
6. Connect the 2 clamps to the brake pedal support assembly.

7. Connect the connector.

1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to the inner surface of the hole on the brake pedal lever.
2. Set the push rod clevis in place, insert the push rod pin from outside the vehicle and then install a new clip.
   NOTE:

   After assembly, check that the pedal operates smoothly.

1. Install the stop light switch mounting adjuster.

1. Install the No. 3 air duct sub-assembly with the bolt.

   Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.*lbf)

1. Check and adjust brake pedal (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [08/2017 - ] ).

1. Check the master cylinder pressure sensor signal. Refer to
