Hazard Warning Switch Circuit [08/2015 - 08/2017]: Procedure

1. Remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2017] ).
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   1 (E) - 4 (B1)	Hazard warning switch ON	Below 1 Ω
   	Hazard warning switch OFF	10 kΩ or higher

3. Reinstall the hazard warning switch assembly.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2017] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the J3 hazard warning signal switch assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the H39 turn signal flasher assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J3-4 (B1) - H39-12 (HAZ)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J3-1 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J3-4 (B1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. reconnect the turn signal flasher assembly connector.
5. Reconnect the hazard warning signal switch assembly connector.

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2015 - 08/2017] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
