DRL Relay Circuit [08/2015 - 08/2017]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the H3 main body ECU connector.

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   H3-8 (DRL) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
   	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2015 - 08/2017] )

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the H39 turn signal flasher assembly connector.

2. Disconnect the H3 main body ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   H39-5 (DRL) - H3-8 (DRL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H39-5 (DRL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
5. Reconnect the turn signal flasher assembly connector.

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2017] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
