  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK)

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SPORT MODE SWITCH, NORMAL MODE SWITCH) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Sport Mode Switch, Normal Mode Switch.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Sport Mode Switch
      Normal Mode Switch
    4. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Data List 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition
      Sport Mode Switch SPORT mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) condition ON or OFF SPORT mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) being turned and held:
      ON
      SPORT mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) not turned:
      OFF
      Normal Mode Switch NORMAL mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) condition ON or OFF NORMAL mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) being pushed and held:
      ON
      NORMAL mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) not operated:
      OFF

    5. Turn the ignition switch off.

    REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  4. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (SPORT MODE, NORMAL MODE)

    REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the G32 integration control and panel assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G32-13 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the G32 integration control and panel assembly connector.

      Result

    Result:

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A30 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G32 integration control and panel assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A30-37 (SPRT) - G32-9 (P) Always Below 1 Ω
      A30-37 (SPRT) or G32-9 (P) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A30-38 (NORM) - G32-8 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      A30-38 (NORM) or G32-8 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    4. Reconnect the G32 integration control and panel assembly.
    5. Reconnect the A30 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connectors.

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result:

    REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY.
