  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK)

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (ECO SWITCH) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List / ECO Switch.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Data List 

      Tester Display
      ECO Switch
    4. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Data List

      ECO Switch ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) condition ON or OFF ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) being turned and held:
      ON

  4. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (ECO MODE) 

    Refer to INSPECTION [02/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to INSPECTION [08/2020 - ]

    REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECO MODE SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the G32 ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G32-13 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the G32 ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - ECO MODE SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY)) 
    1. Disconnect the G46 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G32 ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G46-11 (ECOS) - G32-7 (ECU) Always Below 1 Ω
      G46-11 (ECOS) or G32-7 (ECU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    4. Reconnect the G32 ECO mode switch (integration control and panel assembly) connector.
    5. Reconnect the G46 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

      Result

    REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
