DTC P0AFC-62: Hybrid/EV Battery Sensor Module Signal Compare Failure [02/2019 - 06/2020]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check and record any HV system DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Read output DTCs.
Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes
Result
Result Proceed to "P0A95-63, P0AFC-00, P0AFC-96 or P308A-12" is not output. A "P0A95-63, P0AFC-00, P0AFC-96 or P308A-12" is also output. B - Turn the ignition switch off.

- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Remove the No. 1 hybrid battery exhaust duct.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2019 - 06/2020]
- Remove the No. 1 HV battery shield panel.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2019 - 08/2020]
- Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the battery voltage sensor.
Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [11/2018 - ]

The connector is connected securely and there are no contact problems.
Result
Proceed to OK NG - Install the No. 1 HV battery shield panel.
- Install the No. 1 hybrid battery exhaust duct.

- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
