Installation [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Align the filler neck with the radiator assembly and securely insert the filler neck to the radiator assembly.

   	Press in this Direction

   NOTE:

   • Confirm that the retainer makes a "click" sound when pushed.
   • If the filler neck O-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one.
2. Push in the retainer.
3. Check that the radiator assembly and filler neck are securely connected by pulling on them.

1. Install the 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.

1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator assembly.

1. Attach the 2 guides.
2. Attach the 2 claws to install the fan with motor assembly to the radiator assembly.
   NOTE:

   Do not damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan with motor assembly.

3. Install the radiator assembly with the fan with motor assembly to the vehicle body.
   NOTE:

   Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe and hose when installing the radiator assembly with the fan with motor assembly.

4. Attach the 2 guides.
5. Attach the 2 claws to install the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly.
   NOTE:

   Make sure not to damage the cooler condenser assembly when installing the cooler condenser assembly.

6. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

7. Connect the cooling fan motor connector and rotate the lever to lock it.
   NOTE:

   • When connecting the cooling fan motor connector, make sure that the connecting parts of the cooling fan motor connector are free of dirt, water or other foreign matter.
   • Be sure to securely connect the cooling fan motor connector.
8. Connect the cooling fan motor connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

1. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the No. 5 inverter cooling hose to the fan with motor assembly.

1. Connect the No. 4 inverter cooling hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   • Align the direction of the claw on the clip with the paint mark on the hose.
   • Make sure the No. 4 inverter cooling hose is securely inserted to the stopper.

1. Connect the No. 3 inverter cooling hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   • Align the direction of the claw on the clip with the paint mark on the hose.
   • Make sure the No. 3 inverter cooling hose is securely inserted to the stopper.

1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   • Align the direction of the claw on the clip with the paint mark on the hose.
   • Make sure the No. 2 radiator hose is securely inserted to the stopper.
2. Attach the clamp to connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the fan with motor assembly.

1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

2. Attach the clamp to connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the fan with motor assembly.

   NOTE:

   • Align the direction of the claw on the clip with the paint mark on the hose.
   • Make sure the radiator hose sub-assembly is securely inserted to the stopper.
2. Attach the clamp to connect the radiator hose sub-assembly to the fan with motor assembly.
3. Connect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

1. Connect the No. 6 water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly.

1. Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   • Align the direction of the claw on the clip with the paint mark on the hose.
   • Make sure the No. 5 water by-pass hose is securely inserted to the stopper.

1. Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

2. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the wire harness to the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
3. Attach the 2 clamps to connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
4. Connect the 2 horn connectors.

1. Attach the guide and claw and install the No. 1 radiator air guide RH.
2. Install the clip.

2. Install the clip.
