  1. CHECK 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage and resistance of the connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N3-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N3-2 (BSLC) - N3-1 (GND) R - W-B 4WD ECU assembly power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      N3-3 (TNF) - N3-1 (GND) L - W-B No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      N3-4 (TNR) - N3-1 (GND) B - W-B No. 2 4 wheel drive position switch input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      N3-5 (SLF+) - N3-1 (GND) R - W-B Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) (+) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      N3-6 (SLF-) - N3-1 (GND) B - W-B Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) (-) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      N3-9 (PS-) - N3-1 (GND) Y - W-B Transmission revolution sensor input Ignition switch ON 0.2 to 3.9 V
      N3-11 (TVCF) - N3-1 (GND) P - W-B No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch power supply output Ignition switch ON 4.5 to 5.5 V
      N3-13 (THR+) - N3-1 (GND) B - W-B Temperature sensor (+) input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      N3-14 (TER) - N3-1 (GND) LG - W-B No. 2 4 wheel drive position switch ground Always Below 10 Ω
      N3-15 (TVCR) - N3-1 (GND) G - W-B No. 2 4 wheel drive position switch power supply output Ignition switch ON 4.5 to 5.5 V
      N3-16 (SLFS) - N3-1 (GND) SB - W-B Front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) shield ground Always Below 10 Ω
      N3-18 (TEF) - N3-1 (GND) R - W-B No. 1 4 wheel drive position switch ground Always Below 10 Ω
      N3-19 (PS+) - N3-1 (GND) L - W-B Transmission revolution sensor power supply output Ignition switch ON 9 to 14 V
      N3-21 (THR-) - N3-1 (GND) R - W-B Temperature sensor (-) input Ignition switch ON 0.5 to 4.5 V
      N3-24 (IG1) - N3-1 (GND) Y - W-B 4WD ECU assembly power supply input Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      N4-1 (WJRR) - N3-1 (GND) P - W-B Rear 4WD linear solenoid RH (electro magnetic control coupling sub-assembly RH) (-) output Ignition switch ON Below 0.5 V
      N4-2 (WJSR) - N3-1 (GND) B - W-B Rear 4WD linear solenoid RH (electro magnetic control coupling sub-assembly RH) (+) output Ignition switch ON Below 0.5 V

      N4-6 (SLR-) - N3-1 (GND) B - W-B Rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) (-) output Ignition switch ON 2.2 to 11.2 V
      N4-16 (SLRS) - N3-1 (GND) SB - W-B Rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) shield ground Always Below 10 Ω
      N4-17 (CANH) - N4-26 (CANL) L - W CAN communication line Ignition switch off 54 to 69 Ω
      N4-18 (OMS) - N3-1 (GND) GR - W-B Multi-terrain select switch (integration control and panel assembly) input Ignition switch ON (Switch not operated) 11 to 14 V
