Installation [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HV Model) 
    1. Attach the guide.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Temporarily install the rear seat cushion leg sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.
    3. Tighten the 6 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 19.5 N.m (199 kgf/cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60 [02/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [08/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [10/2023 - ]

  6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for HV Model) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Temporarily install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily install the rear center seatback hinge sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Attach the guide.

      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the rear seatback assembly RH, body exterior or interior parts.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

    3. Return the rear seatback assembly RH.
    4. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Attach the clamp.

    5. Attach the clip.

  11. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (FLOOR ANCHOR) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Attach the guide.

      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the rear seatback assembly LH, body exterior or interior parts.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

    3. Return the rear seatback assembly LH.
    4. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Attach the clamp.

    5. Attach the clip.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the 2 parts.

    1. Set a new rear seat cushion lock hook.
    2. Using 2 thin-bladed screwdrivers, push the sleeve to attach the claw.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force which may break the sleeve.

      *a Sleeve
      Protective Tape

      HINT: 

      Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Check the installation condition.

      OK

      The sleeve is installed properly.

  14. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place the bench type rear seat cushion assembly in the vehicle.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion assembly, body exterior or interior parts.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Connect the 4 connectors for seat heater.

    3. Attach the hook on the rear end of bench type rear seat cushion assembly under the 2 child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assemblies.

      Install in this Direction
    4. Push in the installation direction shown in the illustration and attach the hook on the front of bench type rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seat cushion lock hook.

      Install in this Direction
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to attach the hook on the front of bench type rear seat cushion assembly one at a time.
      • Check that the rear seat cushion lock hook and bench type rear seat cushion assembly are securely fastened.
  15. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2018 - ]
