Removal [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 MOTOR UNDER COVER 
    1. Remove the 4 screws, 4 clips and No. 2 motor under cover from the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 15 clips.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the front floor cover LH.

    3. Disengage the guide, and remove the front floor cover LH from the front floor center cover LH.
  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 12 clips.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the front floor cover RH.

    3. Disengage the guide, and remove the front floor cover RH from the front floor center cover RH.
  4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 7 bolts and 3 screws.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip, and remove the front floor center cover LH from the vehicle body.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the front floor center cover LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER COVER RH 
    1. Remove the 6 bolts.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip, and remove the front floor center cover RH from the vehicle body.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the front floor center cover RH.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER COVER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts, 5 screws, nut and 2 clips.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip, and remove the No. 2 floor under cover from the vehicle body.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the No. 2 floor under cover.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts, 2 screws, nut and 2 clips.

    2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clip, and remove the No. 1 floor under cover from the vehicle body.

      NOTE:

      The clip cannot be removed from the No. 1 floor under cover.

  8. REMOVE FC EXHAUST TAIL PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and FC exhaust tail pipe assembly from the No. 3 FC exhaust pipe and vehicle body.
      WARNING:
      • If the water remaining inside the FC exhaust tail pipe assembly is hot, do not touch the water directly.
      • Touching the water remaining inside the FC exhaust tail pipe assembly when it is hot could result in burns.

      NOTE:
      • If the inner surface of the FC exhaust tail pipe assembly and the No. 3 FC exhaust pipe insertion portion are damaged or broken, replace them with new ones.
      • If the clamp is damaged or rusty, replace it with a new one.
    3. Remove the clamp from the FC exhaust tail pipe assembly.

      HINT: 

      This procedure is only performed when the clamp will be reused.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 FC EXHAUST PIPE 
    1. Loosen the clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 3 FC exhaust pipe from the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe and vehicle body.
      WARNING:
      • If the water remaining inside the No. 3 FC exhaust pipe is hot, do not touch the water directly.
      • Touching the water remaining inside the No. 3 FC exhaust pipe when it is hot could result in burns.

      NOTE:
      • If the inner surface of the No. 3 FC exhaust pipe and the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe insertion portion are damaged or broken, replace them with new ones.
      • If the clamp is damaged or rusty, replace it with a new one.
  10. REMOVE NO. 2 FC EXHAUST PIPE 
    1. Loosen the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 FC exhaust pipe from the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe and vehicle body.
      WARNING:
      • If the water remaining inside the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe is hot, do not touch the water directly.
      • Touching the water remaining inside the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe when it is hot could result in burns.

      NOTE:
      • If the inner surface of the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe and the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe insertion portion are damaged or broken, replace them with new ones.
      • If the clamp is damaged or rusty, replace it with a new one.
    3. Remove the clamp from the No. 2 FC exhaust pipe.

      HINT: 

      This procedure is only performed when the clamp will be reused.

    4. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portion of the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe with a plastic bag.

  11. REMOVE FC STACK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 FC EXHAUST PIPE 
    1. Loosen the clamp and remove the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe from the FC stack assembly.

      WARNING:
      • If the water remaining inside the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe is hot, do not touch the water directly.
      • Touching the water remaining inside the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe when it is hot could result in burns.

    2. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portion of the FC stack assembly with a plastic bag.

    3. Remove the clamp from the No. 1 FC exhaust pipe (No. 2 FC exhaust pipe side).

      HINT: 

      This procedure is only performed when the clamp will be reused.
