Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FUEL LID WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  2. REMOVE HYDROGEN INLET RECEPTACLE CAP 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Remove the hydrogen inlet receptacle cap as shown in the illustration.
  3. REMOVE FUEL TANK CAP COVER 
    1. Wrap the protective tape to the hydrogen inlet receptacle assembly.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the fuel tank cap cover.

  4. REMOVE FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE SHIELD 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, disengage the claws to remove the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness.
    3. Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. Remove the 4 screws.

    5. Remove the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
