Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER 
    1. Using a moulding remover A, disengage the claws to remove the rear combination light cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 4 screws.

      Place Hands Here
      Remove in this Direction

      Apply protective tape to the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. As shown in the illustration, hold the protective tape, pull it towards the rear of the vehicle and disengage the pins and the guide to remove the rear combination light assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the connector and grommet are connected, complete removal is not possible.

    5. Remove the protective tape.
    6. Disengage the claws to remove the rope hook.

      Push
    7. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
    8. Separate the luggage compartment door weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

      Fold back a part of the edge of part of the luggage compartment trim cover assembly, and disconnect the connector.

    10. Disengage the grommet, and push it through the hole on the luggage component trim cover assembly toward the outside of the vehicle.
