DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [01/2018 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [01/2018 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTCs are not output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [01/2018 - ] 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the G13 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G110 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G13-33 (MSCH) - G110-5 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G13-34 (MSCL) - G110-6 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G13-33 (MSCH) or G110-5 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G13-34 (MSCL) or G110-6 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK 

See step  3

1. Replace the combination meter assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and radio and display receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.

4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   The audio tab illuminates and DTC B150A is not output.

   Result

OK 

END (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)
