1. Completely release the parking brake pedal.

   *1	No. 1 Wire Adjusting Nut
   *2	Lock Nut

2. Remove the lock nut and loosen the No. 1 wire adjusting nut to completely release the parking brake cable.

1. Remove the 2 nuts to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the cable support bracket.

2. As shown in the illustration, hold the No. 2 wire adjusting nut with a wrench and loosen the lock nut.

   *a	Hold
   *b	Turn

3. Remove the lock nut and No. 2 wire adjusting nut to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer sub-assembly.
4. Remove the bolt.

5. Remove the nut to separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the body.

1. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

2. Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the wire harness from the parking brake control pedal assembly.

3. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and parking brake control pedal assembly from the body.
