DTC C1210-36: Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone; DTC C1336-98: Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR 
    1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [06/2015 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Utility 

      Tester Display

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Turn the power switch off.
    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs 

    3. Turn the power switch off.
    4. Turn the power switch on (READY).
    5. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (18 mph) or more, turn the steering wheel, and decelerate the vehicle (depress the brake pedal).
    6. Check if the same DTC is output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs C1210/36 and/or C1336/98 are output. A
      DTCs C1210/36 and C1336/98 are not output. B

      HINT: 

      • These DTCs are stored because zero point calibration has not been completed.
      • End the procedure if the same DTCs are not stored after completion of zero point calibration.

  3. CHECK AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION 
    1. Turn the power switch off.
    2. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) has been installed properly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - ]

      OK

      The airbag ECU assembly is tightened to the specified torque.

      The airbag ECU assembly is not tilted.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY CORRECTLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [06/2015 - 11/2018]  , or refer to  INSTALLATION [11/2018 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly).

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

      NOTE:

      Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement.

      Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [06/2015 - ]

  5. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the power switch off.
    3. Turn the power switch on (READY).

    REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]
